Five modes, one goal
WIRIS decides for you — when to buy, when to sell and when to switch appliances on.
Sell to grid
If you decide to sell part or all of the energy stored in batteries at a good price, WIRIS enables their controlled discharge. (Requires an agreed spot-price feed-in for solar surplus.)
Smart charging
Under favourable price conditions, batteries can be charged directly from the grid. (Requires an arranged spot-price electricity purchase.)
Feed-in blocking
When the market price is negative or a penalty looms, WIRIS stops selling and protects the user from losses.
Automatic mode
WIRIS independently decides when to block or allow surplus selling, when to charge batteries from the grid and when to discharge and sell at a favourable price.
Load switching
With charged batteries it can automatically start appliances (water heating, air conditioning). Wiris supports a total of 11 switchable loads.
